One of the main purposes of branding is to be recognized. A vast majority of businesses today have websites. However most businesses have failed to maximise the potential the internet has to offer for businesses. Websites are considered by some to be the most powerful marketing tool of the 21st century. However a professional website on its own is not sufficient to establish a brand. There are nearly 40 million websites on the internet and quite understandably competition to stand out and attract visitors is tough.

The costs involved to implement a strategy to establish a brand online are significantly lower than using traditional forms of advertising such as print, television or radio.
Studies indicate that 4 out of 5 users do not re-visit a website again. It is therefore essential for a website to be professional and create the right impression the first time around; otherwise it offers a risk of losing a potential customer forever.
